Welcome to the Village of Oakwood. The purpose of supplying you with this information is to introduce Oakwood Village to our new residents and update other residents regarding pertinent facts and services offered by our Village.

We hope you and your family will participate in many of the fine programs offered by your Village including one of the finest summer recreation programs in the County.

Since incorporation in 1951, we have become a proud and progressive community who has adopted a “Family First” philosophy about everything from commercial development to law enforcement. To the new residents we extend a warm welcome. We are proud that you have chosen the Village of Oakwood to be your new home and are committed to doing our best to make you feel that you have made the right decision.
