Short Biography

Candace S. Hill

• Mrs. Candace S. Hill is a wife and mother of 5 children and an additional 7 bonus children through marriage and has resided in Ward 5 since 2009. She is an energetic, compassionate, transparent servant leader with experience in organizational development, community partnerships and engagement, and strategic planning.
• Mrs. Hill earned her undergraduate degree from Case Western Reserve University in Communication Sciences and her graduate degree from the University of Mount Union in Educational Leadership. Her professional expertise is in Education, Non-Profit Management, and Organizational Development.
• Her passion for youth and community development, mentoring, and collaboratively developing solutions to improve operations for the quality of life for others are driving forces in her daily decisions. She is a strong advocate for education and volunteers her time within the Bedford City School District.
• Mrs. Hill was appointed to the Ward 5 Council seat October 25, 2016. Her first elected term began January 1, 2018.
